Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using Pixu, including account access, email sending, AI features, connected mailboxes, and acceptable use.

Last updated: May 21, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, connecting a mailbox, or using Pixu, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use Pixu for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

If you have a signed agreement with Pixu, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.

2. Accounts and Approval

Users must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. Pixu may require email verification, magic-link login, administrator invitation, or manual approval before access is granted. Organization administrators are responsible for user roles, mailbox assignments, connected accounts, and tenant configuration.

3. The Service

Pixu provides email operations tools, including hosted mailboxes, relay and connected mailbox workflows, AI-assisted drafting and routing, rules, templates, deliverability monitoring, analytics, reports, webhooks, and administration controls. Features may vary by plan, deployment, provider configuration, and availability of third-party services.

4. Customer Data

You retain ownership of email content, contacts, attachments, knowledge base materials, templates, brand guidelines, and other data you submit to Pixu. You grant Pixu the rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, back up, analyze, and display that data to provide the service.

You are responsible for having all rights and notices required to process email, personal data, attachments, and connected mailbox content through Pixu.

5. Email Sending and Deliverability

You must use Pixu only for lawful, permission-based email. You are responsible for recipient consent, unsubscribe handling, suppression lists, sender identity, DNS configuration, provider policies, and applicable anti-spam laws. Pixu may throttle, block, suspend, or reject sends that appear abusive, risky, unauthenticated, or likely to harm platform reputation.

Pixu provides deliverability tooling, but inbox placement is not guaranteed. Recipient providers control filtering decisions, and sender reputation depends on content, lists, recipient engagement, DNS, complaints, bounces, and provider-specific behavior.

6. AI Features

AI features may draft, summarize, classify, route, or send email depending on your settings. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs where review is required by your workflow, configuring approval modes, and ensuring AI-generated content is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to outputs generated for others. Pixu may route requests through third-party AI providers or local models based on administrator configuration.

7. Connected Accounts

If you connect Google, Outlook, IMAP, SMTP, DNS, or other third-party accounts, you authorize Pixu to access and control those accounts only as needed for enabled features. You are responsible for maintaining provider permissions, complying with provider terms, and disconnecting accounts when access is no longer needed.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use Pixu to:

  • Send spam, phishing, malware, deceptive, harassing, or illegal content.
  • Use purchased, scraped, or non-consenting mailing lists.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent sender identity.
  • Bypass rate limits, suppression lists, unsubscribe requests, or security controls.
  • Access another tenant's data or test for vulnerabilities without authorization.
  • Process regulated data unless your agreement, configuration, and compliance program allow it.

9. Billing, Limits, and Changes

Paid plans, usage limits, storage quotas, sending limits, and overage terms are shown in the product, order form, or invoice. Pixu may change features, limits, and prices with reasonable notice where required. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

Pixu may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, abuse, legal risk, violation of these terms, or actions that threaten deliverability or platform reputation. You may stop using Pixu at any time and request deletion or export of eligible data.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

Pixu is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law. We disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific deliverability results, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pixu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm.
